- I was dx with trip neg breast cancer. stage2b in May 05. Marilyn Van Houten, RN, MS, CDMS, CCM, founded Rehab Case Management, 22 years ago in 1988, specializing in Case Management of complex, catastrophic cases. Marilyn is a Registered Nurse, a certified Case Manager (CCM), a Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS), and a Florida Certified QRP. She is a past President, Miami Dade Chapter of South Florida Case Management Network, and served many years on the local and state Board of Directors as well as serving as their Government Affairs Chairperson. She has actively been involved in educating elected officials on the benefits of case management in the Florida state capital, Tallahassee, and in Washington D.C. Marilyn served as a National Director for the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) for three years from 1997 to 2000. Since her breast cancer diagnosis in 2005 she has been actively involved with the Susan G Komen for a Cure organization as a "Bosom Buddie" for others with triple negative breast cancer. Currently assisting with the coordination of Buddie for You mentoring program.
